In early June 2007, owners Erin and Jenn began drafting a business plan for GlobeHopper Coffeehouse & Lounge.  After extensive research, including manual counts of traffic at the proposed site and long weekends behind computer screens, they ventured to the banks with their final product to pitch the idea and gain financial backing. Four months later, thanks to the support of many, the vision is becoming reality.  Despite their preparation, education, and experience, these two never cease to be surprised by all of the unexpected that comes-along with starting a new business like this!  Family, friends and business partners continue to encourage them as they experience the pains of permitting, licensing, and construction.
